Whom do you most admire? Dr. Douglas Schaak, my 9th grade English teacher. He was the first person to label as a writer and told me that I had the ability to change society through my writing. He also taught me that you should go wherever God leads, and if “you cast your bread upon the waters, you will find it after many days” (a reference to Ecclesiates 11:1 about investing in others and seeing a return later).
What would you tell your younger self? When you stop trying so hard, people will actually describe you as cool.
